Huitt-Zollarshas an immediate opportunity for a Cost Estimator to provide cost estimate and specification support to the USACE.
Candidate should have 5 years of verifiable experience scheduling multi-year projects over $500 million. This is a one year contract position with a possible extension and located onsite in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area.

Provide cost estimate and specification support to the U.S. Army Corps of engineers (USACE)
Ensure adequate data is furnished for the preparation of estimates
Review and integrate various parts of scope prepared by civil, electrical and mechanical engineers and architects
Ensure all features of work elements are entered into current pricing database
Consolidate all parts of scope into the overall job estimate per specification
Utilize current estimating and specification software and databases
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) preferred but not required
Minimum of 5 years' experience scheduling multiyear projects over $500 Million
Ability to acquire a government CAC card
Cost Estimating Certification is a plus
Proficient in the use of RS Means
Knowledge of USACE RMS system (previously MCASES and PACES)
Knowledge of Unified Facilities Criteria, applicable building codes and standards for construction
